Donating Smiles Event at Miami Children’s Museum: A Heartwarming Celebration of Community and Generosity

Unique Designer’s Cake and Sereniti Foundation recently collaborated to host a heartwarming event titled “Donating Smiles” at the Miami Children’s Museum. This event brought joy and festive cheer to families in the community, with a special focus on those from the nonprofit Hermanos de La Calle organization. Hermanos de La Calle is dedicated to reintegrating homeless individuals back into society by providing safety, love, support, and opportunities. The afternoon was filled with delightful activities, leaving a lasting impact on all attendees.

The event truly lived up to its name, promising a delightful afternoon for families. From crafting gingerbread houses to creating nativity scenes with recycled products, the activities were thoughtfully designed to spread joy and foster a sense of community. Attendees had a unique opportunity to craft their own gingerbread houses, guided by expert bakers who made the hands-on process a memorable experience for all. Families gathered to write heartfelt letters to Santa, fostering the spirit of giving and instilling a sense of generosity in the participants.

Undoubtedly, the highlight of the event was the appearance of Santa Claus himself. Children eagerly shared their wishes, and each moment with Santa was captured in photos, creating cherished memories for families. The festive experience was further enriched with live music, arts and crafts, sweet treats, and an array of games, providing a fun-filled afternoon and a joyful atmosphere for everyone. Additionally, guests had the chance to participate in exciting raffles, adding an extra layer of excitement and making the event truly memorable for all involved. The generosity of attendees extended beyond the event itself.

With the donations received, we were able to reach over 1200 children in Colombia. Gifts and meals were provided to children and their parents in cities and towns such as Cali, Pereira, Bogota, Tulua, and Cordoba. The impact of this outreach extended beyond borders, bringing smiles to those in need. Donating Smiles at the Miami Children’s Museum was more than just an event – it was a celebration of community, generosity, and the true spirit of the holiday season.
