Operation Donating Smiles 2024: A resounding Success
This year, the Christmas spirit came to life at Operation Donating Smiles 2024 when Unique Designer’s Cake and Sereniti ™ Foundation joined forces to create a magical afternoon at the Miami Children’s Museum. The event brought smiles, hope, and unforgettable moments to children in Miami and beyond, solidifying itself as a transformative and heartwarming tradition.
This year’s celebration was even more special as we warmly welcomed over 50 children from the Fundación Hermanos de la Calle for an afternoon full of holiday cheer. From decorating gingerbread houses and writing letters to Santa to enjoying live music, crafts, and meeting Santa in person, the happiness and laughter of the children were contagious. Seeing their faces light up upon meeting Santa reminded us of the true magic of the season.
But the impact of Donating Smiles 2024 didn’t stop in Miami. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we surpassed our fundraising goals, raising significant funds to support six churches and organizations in Colombia, including in Cartagena, Bogotá, Tuluá, Cali, Pereira, and Córdoba. This achievement allowed us to not only brighten the lives of children in Miami but also extend hope and blessings to more than 1,500 vulnerable children and young people in Colombia, spreading this Christmas magic beyond our local community.
The success of Operation Donating Smiles highlights the power of community and the generosity of people who believe in making the world a better place for our children. Together, we have shown that compassion knows no borders.
